Our History

Yucaipa Bike Center is a Family operated business that opened its doors in 1991. Since that time, Yucaipa Bike Center has dedicated themselves to providing the ultimate in professional and personal service, delivered in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

It wasn’t long after opening the doors, when the shop developed a reputation for providing honest and friendly service and a commitment to selling high quality products with great value.

Through the years, this commitment has focused on providing American Company and American Made products as possible. Although through the years, this focus has become more difficult, one company, Trek, has survived as the only American family owned and operated major bicycle manufacturer, who still builds some of its bicycles in the United States, which Yucaipa Bike Center proudly sells.

Voted  “BEST BICYCLE SHOP INLAND EMPIRE” FROM THE LOS ANGELES TIMES READERS CHOICE AWARDS 2011. We can’t thank the Inland Empire more for this prestigious award, which helps demonstrate the Inland Empire’s appreciation for our dedication in providing honest and friendly service and a commitment to selling high quality products with great value.

Over the years, Yucaipa Bike Center has provided support for local organizations, such as providing merit badge school for the Boy Scouts of America, hands on support for local Sheriffs’ Bicycle Rodeos, Y.A.P.S, IEBA, RWTC, RYF  and other local Charities. They have also provided sponsorship of the Yucaipa High School Mountain Bike Team and other Local Teams, along with support through N.I.C.A  discount programs for all qualifying school members of bicycle racing groups.

As part of our history, we can’t leave out the inspirational story of a Father and Son team from Yucaipa, who prepared and competed in ther RAAM (Race Across America) which is 3000 mile race from the West coast to the East Coast in twelve days (with no more than four hours of sleep per day). We were very proud to have been part of this through support with donations and hands on support.
